Manganese Mining
Mishpacha is an explorer and developer focused on the development of a near-surface manganese oxide deposits. We focus on hallow open-cast mining of manganese fields across Africa with integrated ore processing plants. We open-cast mines via drill-and-blast and load-and-haul mining techniques. We kick-off the process by removal of top soil and stockpiling it for later use during the rehabilitation phase. We go through various layers of the formation until the manganese ore is exposed. Once exposed the manganese ore is drilled, blasted and hauled to our primary crusher which is part of the processing facilities. The Run of Mine ore is processed in primary and secondary crushers before entering the screening process to produce lumpy and fines products. Our primary and secondary crushing and screening plant and stockpile management system helps minimize the double-handling of material and above that it offers increased water and energy efficiency.
